● BREAKING X-FILES FIELD UPDATE · OCT 11, 2026
NHI vs. NHI: Grusch floats war between non-human factions — and a firefight at a U.S. crash site
In Joe Rogan Experience #2560, David Grusch goes far past his 2023 congressional testimony: a downed Tic Tac, dead grays, living 7-foot reptilian beings shot by troops — and his claim of personally watching clear footage of human-looking dead beings. Plus a Navy-tracked ocean-floor installation “the size of multiple city blocks.”

Analyst note: not sworn testimony; the reptilian account is secondhand; none of the footage described is public; the Pentagon still cites no verifiable evidence.

Phenomena Consolidated Evidence Review
A one-sided case brief assembling the official record most consistent with non-planetary, interdimensional, or spiritual-entity interpretations of UAP—while preserving the government’s contrary assessments.
Executive summary
PRIORITY: IMMEDIATE
DIRECTIVE: NON-PLANETARY INTERPRETATIONS
This review consolidates official ODNI and DoD UAP reports, the 2023 Senate UAP Disclosure Act amendment, congressional material, declassified mission reports, State Department cables, FBI files, NASA transcripts, DOE incident records, witness statements, 94 DoD-released videos, and academic analysis.
When the unexplained residue is examined for behavior rather than hardware, the pattern fits poorly with conventional interstellar visitation and more closely with hypotheses of co-resident or adjacent intelligences.
Revision B update — June 2026 disclosure tranche
The new government release stored as the release_03 / AARO061226 batch added 53 declassified PDFs, 10 FBI digital renderings, and 9 DoD videos. It includes AARO’s June 5, 2026 analytic update and five federal-agent narratives of the October 2023 “Orbs Launching Orbs” event; FBI orb-sighting files; the Colorado Springs intelligence assessment; Gemini crew debriefings; and historical CIA, Army, Navy, and Air Force UFO records from 1948–1974. New evidence is marked [REV-B].
Revision C update — September 2026 disclosure tranche
The release_06 (September 18, 2026) batch adds the AAWSAP Defense Intelligence Reference Document series — including papers on invisibility cloaking, extra dimensions, spacetime metric engineering, traversable wormholes, metamaterials, antigravity, and anomalous field effects on human tissue — plus range-fouler debriefs and law-enforcement encounter transcripts. Fifteen new case files (XF-2026-16 through XF-2026-30) are opened in Section 06, with embedded sensor-footage players and in-page source-document viewers. New evidence is marked [REV-C].
Revision D update — releases 02, 04 & 05 disclosure tranches
Three earlier disclosure batches join the dossier. Release_02 centers on the atomic-weapons complex: the Sandia folder holding the 16 February 1949 Los Alamos green-fireball conference (Teller, Bradbury, LaPaz), a 1973 CIA report of green rings over the Soviet Sary Shagan range, the Pantex incident-report image annex, and Manhattan Project physicist James Tuck’s correspondence on UFO propulsion theory. Release_04 is the historical core: Project Sign’s 1948 founding file and progress report, the Air Force’s first formal intelligence analysis, Blue Book review records, the full 2015 Pantex intrusion report, and three declassified STS-80 shuttle images. Release_05 brings the 2021 Gulf of Oman AC-130 intelligence report, the 1953 Navy photogrammetric film analysis, and FBI witness files with paired digital renderings. Fifteen case files (XF-2026-01 through XF-2026-15) are opened in the REV-D annex, each with in-page source-document viewers. New evidence is marked [REV-D].
◈ WORKING MODEL THE DOSSIER’S ANSWER TO “WHY DOES IT BEHAVE LIKE NOTHING THAT FLIES?”
The dossier’s working model for these behaviors — the intersection hypothesis — is laid out in the Flatland supplement: the 1884 Flatland analogy, an animated MRI walkthrough, orb behaviors mapped to intersection signatures, and an interactive simulator of a higher-dimensional object crossing a lower-dimensional plane.
- 01
They manifest rather than arrive. Witnesses describe orbs that flare up, hold formation, then dim in reverse sequence.
- 02
They are sensor-real. Eighty of the original 144 ODNI cases involved more than one sensor.
- 03
The legal definition is origin-agnostic. Congress defined NHI “regardless of nature or ultimate origin.”
- 04
Reported effects are field-like. The archive records radiation-type burns, brain injury claims, and altered time perception.

2.2 Sensor data — machines see them too
- Multi-sensor concordance. A majority of UAP were registered across radar, infrared, electro-optical, weapon seekers, and visual observation.
- Western U.S. sensor chain. Range radar vectored a helicopter to orbs; FLIR tracked a super-hot ground-level orb that split in two.
- Nuclear-site detection. Pantex logged an unidentified-object report with imagery from its ground-surveillance radar tower.
- Weapon-system imagery. FBI A1–A8 and B1–B24 sets capture spherical returns with no wings, exhaust, or rotors.
- RF anomalies. Military aircraft systems processed radio-frequency energy associated with UAP sightings.
- The instrument gap. The 2023 “Orbs Launching Orbs” witnesses collected no video, imagery, or technical data.
2.3 Witness accounts — credentialed observers
“Two large orbs flare up side-by-side… a third orb flared up below the pair, followed by a fourth… forming a ‘T’ formation… they dimmed in reverse order.”Senior U.S. Intelligence Community official // ODNI-UAP-D001
“The bright orb-like light grew larger [and] expelled three or four red lights… not dissimilar to the opening and closing of a portal.”Federal special agent // DoW-UAP-D080
“Inside the red sphere… a ‘white plasma sun’… the orbs merged together into one orb.”Northeastern U.S. witness // FBI-UAP-D009
Six agents in three independent teams reported orange “mother” orbs ejecting coordinated groups of red orbs across two days.DoW-UAP-D079–D083
2.4 Biological & physiological effects
- The sixth observable. Former AATIP director Luis Elizondo identified biological effects as the observable his team was most reluctant to discuss.
- AAWSAP-era reporting. Secondary accounts associated encounters with radiation-type burns, brain damage, and perceived time suspension.
- Statutory recognition. 50 U.S.C. §3373 makes adverse physiological effects a reportable dimension of encounters.
- Official caveat. ODNI reported no confirmed encounter directly causing adverse health effects; the annual reports did not record such associations.
2.5 Historical parallels — the long file
- 1691: Robert Kirk’s Secret Commonwealth describes a “third rational species” distinct from angels and humans.
- 1944–1955: Foo fighters, green fireballs near Los Alamos, and early Navy, Army, and CIA flying-disc records establish the modern institutional trail.
- 1953–1974: Robertson Panel, BLUE BOOK, U-2/OXCART, and Condon-era records document investigation, debunking policy, and known prosaic drivers.
- 1962–1973: Gemini, Apollo, and Skylab crew debriefings carry the record into the spaceflight era.
- 2008–2010: AAWSAP studied UAP alongside reportedly co-occurring paranormal activity at Skinwalker Ranch.

INTERDIMENSIONAL NHI
VERSUS EXTRATERRESTRIAL CRAFT
Interdimensional
- Instantaneous manifestation. No observed ingress or egress trajectory.
- Fission and fusion. Luminous objects split or reportedly merge without visible debris.
- Partial transparency. Stars visible through one object; a spotlight beam appeared truncated.
- Site fidelity. Repeated activity clusters around the same ranges and nuclear sites.
Extraterrestrial
- No arrival signature. The corpus contains no verified inbound tracks from orbital space.
- No exhaust or wake. Fast-moving spheres lack visible or acoustic propulsion signatures.
- Display behavior. Formations and flare sequences read more like communication than reconnaissance.
- Historical continuity. Modern accounts rhyme with older luminous-entity traditions.

Case disposition
CONCLUSIONS WITHIN
THE CASE DIRECTIVE’S FRAME
A hard residue exists. Multi-sensor and multi-witness events remain in official records after prosaic screening.
Behavior is the discriminant. Manifestation, splitting, transparency, formation display, and site fidelity fit ultraterrestrial hypotheses more naturally than interstellar visitation.
The historical record is ambiguous. Continuity with older folklore may indicate a persistent phenomenon—or a stable human misperception engine.
U.S. law is origin-agnostic. “Non-human intelligence” is defined regardless of nature or ultimate origin.
Nothing here is confirmation. The truth is in the residue, and the residue remains classified, redacted, or unmeasured.
REV. B deepens rather than resolves. The new tranche grows on testimony faster than on instrumentation.

FEATURED SENSOR FOOTAGE
X-File: The Field Effect
THE EVIDENCE
Three previously fit and active individuals experienced what the paper calls an anomalous aerospace-related event. Within 72 hours, all three were in medical distress: near-immediate erythema over exposed skin, fever, pain, headaches, numbness and paresthesia, hair loss, skin eruptions, cardiac palpitations — and, over the following years, chronic headaches, sleep and dream disturbances, and in one case blood dyscrasia with "signs of malignant transformations."
The paper's own words:
- "Based on historical cases, humans have been found to have been injured from exposures to anomalous vehicles, especially airborne, and when in relatively close proximity."
- "Sufficient incidents/accidents have been accurately reported, and medical data acquired, as to support a hypothesis that some advanced systems are already deployed, and opaque to full US understanding."
- The three were exposed in the near-field — meters — to broadband ultrahigh radiofrequency radiation centered near 785 MHz.
- Appendix A catalogs the Schuessler Catalog of UFO-Related Human Physiological Effects: the injuries are a pattern, not an anecdote.
ASSESSMENT
No one was hit by debris. No one touched a craft. The injuries are field injuries — the signature of standing too close to an intense, localized field event. If these are coexisting entities operating through spacetime-metric or electromagnetic field effects, biology is exactly where the evidence would land: flesh is the most sensitive instrument in the room. The paper even argues the clinical data can reverse-engineer "certain physical characteristics of possible future advanced aerospace systems from unknown provenance." Read plainly: DIA studied the wounds to learn about the weapon — or the visitor.

X-File: Stargate
THE EVIDENCE
A Defense Intelligence Reference Document with the word "Stargates" in the title. Not a memo about the TV show — a technical paper on traversable wormholes and the negative energy required to hold them open. From the document:
- "A 'stargate' is a special class of traversable wormhole solutions to Einstein's general relativistic field equation that possesses very simple physics and flat entry and exit openings."
- "Wormholes are hyperspace tunnels through spacetime connecting either remote regions within our universe or two different universes; they even connect different dimensions and different times."
- "The Cosmic Neighborhood can encompass other universes, other space dimensions, and other times beyond the four-dimensional spacetime realm."
- The paper details lab methods for generating negative energy — squeezed light states, Casimir-effect configurations — and includes, without irony, a figure titled "A Stargate in Times Square."
The traversable-wormhole principle itself dates to Morris and Thorne's 1985 work — undertaken, the paper notes, at Carl Sagan's request while he was writing *Contact*.
ASSESSMENT
This is the single strongest document in the release for the interdimensional reading. The government's own reference library treats portal transit — entry here, exit elsewhere, no travel between — as an engineering discipline with equations, energy budgets, and lab techniques. The phenomenon doesn't cross space. It steps outside of it. When a craft vanishes mid-frame or appears without an inbound track, this paper is the physics of how.

X-File: The Extra Dimensions
THE EVIDENCE
DIA's paper on warp drive, dark energy, and the manipulation of extra dimensions — Kaluza-Klein theory, large extra dimensions, Randall-Sundrum brane models — treated as aerospace subject matter. Key passages:
- On the Alcubierre warp bubble: "the spacecraft remains stationary inside this 'warp bubble,' and the movement of space itself facilitates the relative motion of the spacecraft" — and "the inhabitants of the bubble would feel no acceleration effects because spacetime itself would be in motion instead of the spacecraft."
- "Physicists have discovered two loopholes to Einstein's ultimate speed limit: the Einstein-Rosen bridge (commonly referred to as a 'wormhole') and the warp drive. Fundamentally, both ideas involve manipulation of spacetime itself."
- Dark energy — over 70 percent of the universe's matter-energy content — is examined as a possible higher-dimensional artifact: a lever for adjusting the geometry of extra dimensions for propulsion.
- At a notional 100 times light speed, the paper tables transit times: Mars in 193 seconds, Alpha Centauri in 15 days.
ASSESSMENT
If entities operate from or through compactified extra dimensions, their "appearances" are intersections — a higher-dimensional object crossing our four-dimensional slice. That is precisely why they can be here without traveling here: no inbound track, no transit time, no arrival. They don't come from far away. They come from adjacent. This paper is the theory behind the portal — pair it with the Stargate file and the mechanism is complete on paper.

X-File: Metric Engineering
THE EVIDENCE
A DIA paper on propulsion by engineering the vacuum itself — altering the metric of spacetime around a craft instead of pushing against it. The document:
- Cites Nobelist T.D. Lee: "The experimental method to alter the properties of the vacuum may be called vacuum engineering... If indeed we are able to alter the vacuum, then we may encounter new phenomena, totally unexpected."
- Cites 2004 Nobelist Frank Wilczek: space may be "the primary reality of which matter is a secondary manifestation," adding that "today the third view is triumphant."
- Contains Table 1: "Metric Effects on Physical Processes in an Altered Spacetime as Interpreted by a Remote (Unaltered Spacetime) Observer" — a catalog of how metric manipulation would look to us watching from normal space.
- Details the observable effects: time alteration, light-bending in spacetime-altered regions, gravity/antigravity forces, and blueshifting of the infrared heat spectrum.
ASSESSMENT
Read Table 1 as a field guide to UAP kinematics. Instant acceleration with no g-force on occupants. Right-angle turns at speed. No sonic boom, no exhaust plume, no thermal bloom. Every "impossible" flight characteristic in the case record is what metric engineering looks like from the outside — from unaltered spacetime, watching something that isn't moving through space so much as rearranging it. The craft isn't defying physics. It's using a chapter we haven't finished reading.

X-File: The Cloak
THE EVIDENCE
DIA's technical treatment of invisibility — theory *and* experiments. The paper structures the problem as three methods: camouflage, transparency, and cloaking — then goes deep on the third:
- Transformation optics: bending light around an object via a cloaking shell so it emerges as if nothing were there.
- Negative refraction demonstrated with "bulk" optical metamaterials built from nano-fishnets and nanowires — lab results, not theory.
- A full chapter on "Broadband Invisibility": defeating detection across the electromagnetic spectrum, not just visible light.
- Implementation concepts including the ground-plane cloak, with coordinate-transformation diagrams showing how a bump on a surface can be made to look flat to an observer.
- The paper even opens with the B-2 stealth bomber as camouflage's current state of the art — then leaves it behind: stealth absorbs radar; cloaking reroutes the wave entirely, so the sensor reports empty space where an object sits.
ASSESSMENT
This is the mechanism paper for half the case file. Seen by eye but not on radar. Tracked on infrared, then gone. Filmed vanishing between frames. Every one of those is a cloaking event described in witness language — and here is DIA treating it as a funded, experiment-backed discipline with working lab demonstrations. Cloaking isn't the speculation in this collection. It's the homework.
VIEW SOURCE DOCUMENT
X-File: Metamaterials
THE EVIDENCE
The physical substrate of the cloak: engineered materials with properties found nowhere in nature. From the paper:
- "A metamaterial is defined as an artificial medium whose properties (mechanical, optical, magnetic, or other) cannot be found in naturally-occurring materials."
- Negative refractive index — both permittivity and permeability below zero — built from split-ring resonators and electric ring resonators, tunable by design.
- Figure 15, the "Trapped Rainbow": a waveguide with a negative-index core that brings light to a complete standstill.
- "Perfect" narrow-band microwave absorbers, wide-angle plasmonic absorbers, tunable switchable metamaterials, and "one-way" microwave mirrors — with preliminary experimental results throughout.
- Beyond cloaking: super-lenses and hyper-lenses imaging below the diffraction limit, pulse compression in magnetized plasma, and nonlinear chiral metamaterials for novel optical isolators.
ASSESSMENT
If the Cloak file is the theory, this is the workbench. DIA-funded lab work on stopping light dead, steering it around objects, and absorbing radar returns wholesale gives the site hard science to cite every time a case turns on an object that was visible one moment and gone the next. An entity whose hull is programmable at the material level doesn't need to hide. It just retunes.
And the paper's scope keeps widening past stealth: sub-diffraction imaging, pulse manipulation, one-way mirrors for microwaves. The through-line is control over light itself — emission, reflection, transmission, absorption — treated as an engineering parameter. Once light is a parameter, visibility is a choice.

X-File: Antigravity
THE EVIDENCE
DIA's survey of antigravity for aerospace applications opens with a sentence that belongs on a poster:
- "Gravity is the bane of aerospace transportation."
- The foreword states it flatly: "Antigravity effects can be implemented by manipulating spacetime."
- If gravity control were achieved, "aerospace vehicles would merely 'levitate' in air and their propulsion systems would be optimized for change-in-velocity missions."
- The survey covers Forward's dipole gravitational field generator, Felber's relativistic antigravity effect, negative-energy-induced antigravity, dark/vacuum energy applications, and quantum approaches via zero-point fluctuation forces — each evaluated for make-or-break feasibility.
- The paper draws the line between what we have and what we'd need: "To date, there is no technology that can achieve the active control of gravity." Everything flying today manages only passive control — thrust against the pull. A single-stage rocket to escape velocity must be over 93 percent fuel, it notes, because every joule spent fighting gravity is a joule not spent going somewhere.
ASSESSMENT
Silent hovering. No rotors, no wings, no exhaust plume, no heat signature, no sound — then impossible acceleration. That is not a mystery flight envelope; it is the observational signature of gravity modification, described here as an engineering survey by the Defense Intelligence Agency. The phenomenon doesn't fly the way we fly because it may not be flying at all. It's falling upward on purpose.
VIEW SOURCE DOCUMENT
X-File: Superconductors and Gravity
THE EVIDENCE
A historical survey of "the recent search for laboratory-scale manipulation of gravity" — the research lineage behind every gravity-modification claim in the file:
- The discovery of YBCO ceramics superconducting at liquid-nitrogen temperatures: "True Meissner repulsion was obtained by cooling them using relatively cheap liquid nitrogen rather than liquid helium" — gravity-adjacent experiments left the cryogenics lab and went mainstream.
- "The possibility of considering the superconductor being a macroscopic quantum object as a reality rather than a fantasy suggested several avenues for developing theories connecting gravity and gravity-like forces to engineerable matter."
- Reviews Puthoff's development of Sakharov's proposal: gravity itself as a Casimir-like attraction arising from zero-point fluctuations of the vacuum.
- Frames the entire pursuit in two engineering goals: "the modifying, neutralizing, or negating of the gravitational attraction of a nearby body" and propulsion "based on manipulation of the same underlying physical phenomenon that forms the basis of gravity."
ASSESSMENT
"Exotic materials" is usually where a case file goes to die — folklore, rumor, untestable claims. This paper drags it back into the documented world: decades of serious, published, government-surveyed investigation into coupling superconductors to gravitational effects. Whatever is hovering silently over the ranges didn't necessarily arrive with this physics. But someone has been working the problem in the open literature for a very long time.
VIEW SOURCE DOCUMENT
X-File: Negative Mass
THE EVIDENCE
The fuel chapter. Negative mass and negative energy are what the wormhole, stargate, and metric-engineering papers all require to function — and here is DIA's dedicated treatment:
- "It is easy to prove that there are negative masses all around us, albeit hidden behind positive masses."
- Bondi's runaway solution: a positive and negative mass of equal magnitude chase each other, self-accelerating forever with no energy input — motion without propulsion.
- Four interaction cases tabulated: positive-positive attract, negative masses repel ordinary matter — the repulsive half of the ledger our engineering has never touched.
- The paper proposes that negative mass may have pooled in gravitational potential wells over billions of years — and then, with a straight face, proposes tunneling through the Moon with "a sequence of thermonuclear shape charges" to mine it: "Making a tunnel through the moon, provided there is a good supply of negative mass, could revolutionize interstellar space flight."
ASSESSMENT
Strip away the lunar-mining bravado and the physics point stands: the exotic matter class that makes interdimensional transit engineering-plausible is treated here as a real, tabulated, mined-in-principle resource. The stargate needs negative energy to stay open; the warp bubble needs it to form; this paper is where the government went looking for the supply. The phenomenon's physics has a fuel, and it isn't kerosene.

X-File: The 28-Year Pilot
THE EVIDENCE
A Range Fouler report filed by a pilot with 28 years in USAF and Navy cockpits. In his own words:
- "An object with flight characteristics unlike anything I had seen in my 28 years of performing for the USAF and Navy."
- "A small object was below us and appeared to be traveling in a straight line opposite our direction at high speed."
- He tracked it for 10–15 seconds, then switched on the recorder — video of the encounter is attached to the report.
- "When I zoomed in to try and achieve more resolution, the object's speed took [it] out of my FOV and I was unable to reacquire, even at a lower zoom."
- Post-flight analysis suggested a rectangular shape: "Others with equal or more experience were also unsure as to what this object might be."
ASSESSMENT
This is the operational counterpart to the Cloak file. A trained observer with nearly three decades of flight time watches an object defeat his sensor in real time — not by jamming it, but by simply exiting the field of view during zoom and refusing to be reacquired at any magnification. Rectangular. High speed. Straight-line track. Gone. Whatever crossed his nose that day wasn't avoiding detection as a tactic. Avoiding detection may be what it is.

X-File: The Colorado Watchers
THE EVIDENCE
Fifteen minutes of video, filmed by a Colorado law enforcement officer across multiple nights — and the officer's narration is the case. Direct from the transcript:
- "It's the second night in a row."
- "Weird thing about these things is they stay there for hours, and they will fly in triangular motions."
- "So yesterday, one of these things shined a very, um, bright red and blue beam into my truck, a patrol vehicle."
- "I have seen one that has disappeared in an instant, so I'm curious if this one's going to do the same thing."
- "I've seen it twice where it'll just… disappear in an instant at like supersonic speed."
- As the object moves toward him: "Okay, it's definitely moving towards me." Then, quietly: "Which is… very terrifying."
AARO stripped the audio and redacted identities, but left the transcript — a trained observer documenting repeat visitation, structured light displays, and instantaneous disappearance as a routine event.
ASSESSMENT
Note the grammar of the encounter: not "it appeared" but "it's the second night in a row." Not shock at the disappearance but curiosity about whether this one will do it too. This is what coexisting presence looks like in the record — not a flyby, not a crash, but neighbors with a schedule. The officer isn't describing a visitation. He's describing a pattern.
VIEW SOURCE DOCUMENT
X-File: Programmable Matter
THE EVIDENCE
DIA's primer on materials whose properties can be changed on demand — the shape-shifter's handbook:
- "Smart materials can even create new defensive capabilities, such as chameleon-style camouflage, deflection of laser beams, and even outright invisibility."
- "If it becomes possible to change the properties of certain materials on demand, based on remotely triggered instructions, the benefits for spacecraft — both crewed and autonomous — will be considerable."
- Quantum dots as "artificial atoms": "designer atoms with properties that simply do not occur on the periodic table."
- Working examples already in the paper: RavenWindow film switching between transparent (cold) and reflective (hot) states — optical properties rewritten by temperature alone.
- The paper frames four kinds of "atoms" — natural atoms, quantum dots, photonics/metamaterials, liquid crystals — plus a category it labels, without flinching, "'Impossible' Materials." Energy-scavenging spacecraft skins and thermal-management surfaces are the near-term payoffs; the far term is matter as software.
ASSESSMENT
Witnesses have reported craft that morph, change color, shift shape, and alter their reflectivity for decades — reports usually filed under unreliable narration. This paper re-files them under materials science. A hull that retunes its optical, electrical, and magnetic properties by remote instruction doesn't change shape the way a transformer does. It changes what it *is*, at the level light interacts with. The morphing orb isn't misperception. It's the material doing exactly what DIA described.

X-File: The Stationary Orb
THE EVIDENCE
One minute and forty-two seconds of video. A Colorado law enforcement officer, January 2, 2024, narrating in real time:
- "I am watching another orb that is flying approximately... 300 feet up off the ground."
- "I did check radar. There is no aircraft flying in the area."
- "This has been flying stationary for about 15 minutes."
- "Okay, the craft is flying closer to me now. I can see it."
Fifteen minutes, motionless, at 300 feet — in controlled airspace, on radar that shows nothing, in front of a trained observer who then watches it approach.
ASSESSMENT
Visible to the eye. Invisible to radar. Stationary for a quarter of an hour, then closing distance under apparent control. That is the signature of partial cloaking — or of a presence offset just enough from our slice of the spectrum that our instruments report empty sky while eyes report an orb. The officer checked the instruments first and trusted his eyes second. The file suggests he had it backwards.
Pair it with the Cloak and Metamaterials files: an object whose hull manages its own radar cross-section doesn't need to outrun the radar. It just declines to answer. And note the behavior — fifteen minutes of stillness, then approach. That reads less like a machine on a mission profile and more like something deciding to take a closer look.

X-File: The Interface
THE EVIDENCE
Full title: "Technological Approaches to Controlling External Devices in the Absence of Limb-Operated Interfaces." DIA's survey of operating machinery by thought:
- "Technologies have been sought to directly connect the biological and the physical to form a seamless entity."
- "Integration of thought and computer-controlled action, without the need for a limb-operated device."
- The stated endpoint: "thought-based operation of remote machinery during normal human activities without mechanical device interaction."
- The survey covers noninvasive and invasive brain-machine interfaces, closed-loop hybrid neuro-robotic systems, optical stimulation of action potentials, human-subject trials — and cites experiments in which a robotic system mimicked the physical actions of a monkey in a remote location.
- Operational targets are specified like any other weapons program: data transfer above 5–10 bits per second, command selection in 300 milliseconds or less. The paper's long-term bet is invasive single-neuron cortical connections forming "a network of high-bandwidth duplex communication pathways."
ASSESSMENT
The witness literature is full of craft that seem to respond to thought — banking when noticed, approaching when invited, withdrawing when feared. This file treats that as an engineering problem DIA was already studying, not a mystical claim. If a coexisting intelligence operates its platforms through direct neural interfacing, then the "psychic" component of close encounters isn't paranormal. It's the control scheme. The interface was never the mystery. It was the manual.

X-File: Tracking the Untrackable
THE EVIDENCE
DIA's paper on detecting and tracking hypersonic vehicles formalizes exactly what a fast object *should* look like to our sensors — which is precisely the baseline the phenomenon violates:
- "For Mach numbers greater than 1 (supersonic flow), shock waves develop in the flowfield and near the surface of the object due to the air's compressibility."
- "Meteors are preceded by a bow shockwave... the gases in air ionize and disassociate, leading to the emission of visible light and radio waves."
- "The coupled high velocity and high kinetic energy of these objects creates an ionized wake and shock wave that can be used to detect their position and to determine their velocity."
- The paper computes infrared emission spectra via Planck's law and peak shock-layer temperatures — the thermal bloom every hypersonic object must produce.
- Recommendation #3: "Explore the Detection of Vehicles Designed To Be Undetectable."
ASSESSMENT
No sonic boom. No thermal bloom. No shockwave, no ionized wake, no Planck-curve infrared signature. Every sensor modality in this paper — radar, infrared, LIDAR, infrasound — keys on physics the anomalous craft simply don't produce. That absence is itself the evidence: whatever these are, they aren't moving through the air the way fast things move through air. They aren't generating the wake because they aren't displacing the medium. File this one next to the pilot's rectangular object — the reason he couldn't reacquire it may be that his sensor was looking for physics that wasn't there.
